About RIVVOR

RIVVOR is a next-generation wireless systems company based in Silicon Valley, with engineering hubs in Montréal, Canada, and Tbilisi, Georgia. We are building ultra-high-speed wireless infrastructure using advanced mmWave and RF technologies—from Earth to orbit and beyond.

Founded by seasoned engineers from AMD and top-tier research labs, our team blends semiconductor execution, system design, and physics-driven innovation. We partner with leading universities and national labs to solve deep technical challenges in wireless communication, data movement, and infrastructure design.

If you're excited by elegant systems, complex architecture, and creating the blueprint for something truly groundbreaking, this is your moment.

About the Role

As Senior/Lead RF Engineer, you'll design and validate next-generation mmWave RF front-ends and antenna systems. Working directly with our Wireless Tech Lead, you’ll take a hands-on role in RF hardware development—from simulation and circuit design to lab testing and production integration.

This role offers deep technical ownership in a small, elite team, with the opportunity to influence the RF roadmap for some of the world’s most advanced wireless systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead RF hardware design from concept through prototyping and production

  • Simulate and implement mmWave RF circuits, front-ends, and antenna systems

  • Build and validate custom RF modules for ultra-high-speed wireless links

  • Perform link budget analysis and optimize for performance and reliability

  • Establish RF testing protocols and validation workflows

  • Collaborate with digital/FPGA, embedded, and mechanical engineering teams

  • Drive RF hardware roadmap and lead field trials, demos, and production testing

  • Interface with component suppliers, manufacturing partners, and test labs

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in RF or mmWave engineering

  • Proficiency with EM simulation tools (CST Studio, HFSS, ADS)

  • Deep understanding of impedance matching, RF front-end design, and power amplifiers

  • Expertise with lab measurements: VNA, spectrum analyzers, anechoic chamber setups

  • Experience bringing RF hardware from prototype to production

  • Background in antenna design or high-frequency PCB layout

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and cost optimization

Tools & Tech

CST Studio • HFSS • Keysight ADS • RF test equipment • PCB design tools • Antenna arrays • mmWave module prototyping

Why Join Us?

  • High Ownership: Lead mmWave RF design in a core engineering role

  • Compensation: $96K base + equity + annual bonus

  • Elite Engineering Team: Work with RF, silicon, and systems experts from North America, Europe, and Asia

  • Mission: Help build the fastest wireless systems ever deployed

  • Benefits: Remote/Hybrid, wellness stipend, and health insurance
