About RIVVOR:

RIVVOR is a next-generation wireless systems company based in Silicon Valley, with engineering hubs in Montréal, Canada, and Tbilisi, Georgia. We are building ultra-high-speed wireless infrastructure using advanced mmWave and RF technologies—from Earth to orbit and beyond.

Founded by seasoned engineers from AMD and top-tier research labs, our team blends semiconductor execution, system design, and physics-driven innovation. We partner with leading universities and national labs to solve deep technical challenges in wireless communication, data movement, and infrastructure design.

If you're excited by elegant systems, complex architecture, and creating the blueprint for something truly groundbreaking, this is your moment.

About the Role:

As the first DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer at RIVVOR, you’ll build and maintain the internal systems that power our engineering team. You’ll design CI/CD pipelines, manage developer infrastructure, and support hybrid workflows across firmware, FPGA, software, and hardware projects. This is a high-impact technical role with broad ownership across the company’s internal infrastructure.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for diverse R&D workflows

  • Set up, automate, and support dev environments for embedded, FPGA, and software teams

  • Manage internal tools and services: Git, Docker, artifact repos, issue trackers, runners, secrets

  • Automate build/test/delivery for firmware, software, drivers, and hardware simulations

  • Implement system monitoring, logging, and health checks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

  • Apply security best practices and backup strategies for all development artifacts

  • Document workflows, onboard new engineers, and provide first-line infrastructure support

  • Collaborate closely with hardware, RF, embedded, and software teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or Infrastructure Engineering

  • Proficiency with at least one central CI system (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

  • Strong background in Linux server administration, scripting (Bash, Python, etc.), and Docker

  • Familiarity with build systems: Make/CMake, Vivado, Quartus, Vitis, HDL tools, embedded flows

  • Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalents)

  • Understanding of security best practices, secrets management, and access controls

  • Bonus: Experience automating embedded/FPGA build and deployment pipelines

  • Bonus: Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, Hetzner, or hybrid cloud/on-prem setups

  • Proficiency in English (team operates in English)

Tech Stack:

GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Linux, Python, Bash, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Ansible, Make/CMake, Vivado, Quartus, Vitis, ModelSim, Artifactory, Nexus, AWS, GCP, VS Code, hardware-in-the-loop

Why Join Us:

  • Own and build the infrastructure backbone for a cutting-edge wireless company

  • $72K base + equity + milestone-based bonuses

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hardware, RF, and systems

  • Join a mission-driven team focused on building global wireless infrastructure

  • Benefits: relocation support, flexible work schedule, wellness stipend, team offsites, and health coverage
