About RIVVOR

RIVVOR is a next-generation wireless systems company based in Silicon Valley, with engineering hubs in Montréal, Canada, and Tbilisi, Georgia. We are building ultra-high-speed wireless infrastructure using advanced mmWave and RF technologies—from Earth to orbit and beyond.

Founded by seasoned engineers from AMD and top-tier research labs, our team blends semiconductor execution, system design, and physics-driven innovation. We partner with leading universities and national labs to solve deep technical challenges in wireless communication, data movement, and infrastructure design.

If you're excited by elegant systems, complex architecture, and creating the blueprint for something truly groundbreaking, this is your moment.

About the Role:

As Senior/Lead Hardware Engineer, you’ll own the full hardware development lifecycle for our high-speed mmWave modules. From architecture to manufacturing, you’ll lead the design of multi-layer boards that combine RF, digital, and power systems into a compact, production-ready product. This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of RF, modular, and aerospace-grade hardware.

What You’ll Do:

  • Define hardware architecture, requirements, and component strategy

  • Design complex multi-layer PCBs for mmWave RF, PCIe, SerDes, and power delivery

  • Lead prototype development through volume manufacturing and cost optimization

  • Perform signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal analysis

  • Drive hardware validation, lab bring-up, and performance debugging

  • Collaborate with RF, FPGA, embedded, and mechanical teams for system integration

  • Establish internal design guidelines and mentor junior engineers

  • Interface with suppliers and contract manufacturers for DFM and production

  • Ensure system-level reliability for both data center and space environments.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6+ years of experience in high-frequency hardware development

  • Expert in PCB design using Altium Designer or Cadence (RF + high-speed digital)

  • Hands-on experience with PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes, and comms hardware

  • Deep understanding of SI/PI, EMC, impedance control, and heat management

  • Proven track record of taking hardware from concept to mass production

  • Leadership and mentorship capabilities in hardware development teams

  • Comfortable working across domains: RF, digital, embedded, mechanical

  • Bonus: Experience with mmWave or RF module integration

  • Bonus: Familiarity with enterprise networking or space-grade hardware

Tech Stack:

Altium Designer, Cadence, HyperLynx, ADS, HFSS, CST Studio, SI/PI simulation tools, VNA, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, thermal cameras, EMC test equipment, PCIe, 100G Ethernet, high-speed SerDes, custom mmWave interfaces, DFM, supply chain tools, volume production workflows

Why Join Us:

  • Lead next-gen hardware systems powering ultra-fast wireless platforms

  • Competitive base + equity + milestone bonuses

  • Join a global team of RF, silicon, and system engineers shaping the future of data movement

  • Benefits: relocation support, flexible work schedule, health coverage, wellness stipend, team offsites
