Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Rivvor, Inc. ("Rivvor," "we," "us") and its affiliates, including Rivvor Georgia LLC, handle personal information collected through rivvor.com and related pages, forms, events and communications (the "Site"). Rivvor, Inc. is based in Roseville, California and is the party responsible for your information.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a technology brief, book a call, sign up for our newsletter, apply for a role, register for an event or demo, or email us, we collect what you provide: name, organization, work email, sector, U.S.-person status under ITAR/EAR, use-case details, preferred call time, and anything else you choose to share (such as a résumé).
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and our hosting provider log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, referring page, pages viewed and approximate location derived from IP address. Some of this is collected through cookies, described in our Cookie Notice.
Information from others. We may receive business contact details from event organizers, partners and introductions, and we may review publicly available professional information (for example, a company website or professional profile) in connection with a business inquiry or job application.
How we use information
We use personal information to: respond to your inquiry and prepare technical briefs; schedule and hold calls and demos; evaluate partnership, pilot and customer opportunities; send our newsletter and company updates if you sign up; review job applications; operate, secure and improve the Site; and comply with legal obligations.
Export-control compliance. Some Rivvor technical information may be subject to U.S. export controls. We use details such as your organization, location and U.S.-person status to decide what materials can be shared, and we may screen names and organizations against U.S. government restricted-party lists before sharing controlled information.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share personal information only with: service providers that host the Site, deliver email, schedule meetings, store files and provide analytics for us, under contracts that limit their use of the data; our affiliates, including Rivvor Georgia LLC, for the purposes in this policy; professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants; authorities when required by law, court order or export-control regulations, or to protect rights and safety; and a successor entity in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Inquiry and newsletter data is generally kept for up to three years after our last interaction. Export-compliance screening records are kept for at least five years, as U.S. regulations require. Job application data is kept for up to two years unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send confidential, classified or export-controlled information through Site forms.
International transfers
Rivvor operates in the United States and Georgia, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your choices and rights
Email. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any message or by contacting us.
Access, correction and deletion. You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
California residents. Depending on whether the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to Rivvor, you may have the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. Our Site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out where required.
EEA, UK and Swiss residents. We process personal information on the basis of our legitimate interests (responding to business inquiries, operating the Site), your consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies), contract (job applications and business relationships) and legal obligations (export compliance). You may object to processing, request restriction or portability, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
